 The Testimony of Pat McDonald

In 1979, we had just moved to a new town. We were married with three young children. We were into the things of the world, young and very confused. I felt like there must be more to life.

There was a brand new church being planted in the community. One Wednesday night, I went to check it out. They were having a Bible study/prayer meeting. The pastor explained the gospel to me and invited me to pray with him. I did, and the next day I was elated, I felt like Jesus was right there with me. It's been a long journey.

We moved to Bullhead City, from Massachusetts sixteen years ago. I wanted a new church, and I saw a sign for the Potter's House. I was in and out of the church for a few years, then about eleven years ago, I felt God telling me to go back and stay put. I did, and I'm so happy I did. I don't know what I would do without my relationship with God, it makes the difficult things that come our way in life easier to endure.
